The most heavily statute-cited rideshare page on this site — seven sections by number, and they check out. His firm's homepage also does something almost nobody does: under a "no fee unless we win" banner it discloses, citing Rule 7.02(c), that a client may still owe case expenses regardless of outcome.

The bar record

We read Anselmo Aguirre in the State Bar of Texas Find a Lawyer directory — the same register behind every Houston, Dallas and Austin listing on this site. The practice, school, fee and language rows are supplied by the lawyer; the Bar publishes them without verifying them, and prints in words where a lawyer has supplied nothing.

Texas answers, and asks more than anyone else. The State Bar prints No Public Disciplinary History as a sentence — not a blank like Washington, not a missing field like Pennsylvania. And it asks about eight things no other register on this site asks about at once: practice areas, law school, fee options, languages, other states, courts of admittance, firm size and services provided. Where a lawyer declines, it prints the refusal in wordsNone Reported By Attorney — so you can tell a question nobody asked from one nobody answered. One record in this city says that five times.

These nine were held once, and the hold is why this listing exists in the form it does. Nine Austin lawyers — this one among them — first reached us with an entry from austinbar.org, the Austin Bar Association’s find-a-lawyer: a voluntary membership directory with no disciplinary field of any kind. We did not publish them. The State Bar of Texas records have since been supplied, and the comparison settled the question: all nine read No Public Disciplinary History — the field the directory does not have — and on top of that, three of the nine licence dates in the directory were wrong and four addresses disagreed, with the regulator matching the lawyer’s own website on three of them. The wait produced a better record, not merely a slower one.

What the record shows

His firm’s rideshare page cites Texas Insurance Code §1954.052, §1954.053 and §1954.056; Occupations Code §2402.114; and Civil Practice & Remedies Code §16.003, §33.001 and §41.008 — seven sections by number. We fetched it on 27 August 2026. No other rideshare page in this directory cites more than three.Verified

It states the tiers as Period 1 (app on, no ride accepted): $50,000 per person, $100,000 per incident, $25,000 property damage and Period 2 and Period 3 (ride accepted or passenger in vehicle): $1,000,000 aggregate liability per incident. Confirmed live.Verified

His firm’s homepage discloses what most contingency advertising leaves out. Directly beneath a “$0 — No fee unless we win” banner it states that the client may be responsible for case expenses (court filing fees, expert witness fees, deposition costs, medical record fees, etc.) regardless of outcome unless otherwise specified in the engagement agreement — and attributes the disclosure to Rule 7.02(c) of the Texas Disciplinary Rules. Confirmed live on 27 August 2026.Verified

There is a gap worth naming: his State Bar record’s fee field reads None Reported By Attorney while his own homepage sets out his fee terms in detail. The register records what a lawyer files with it, not what he publishes.Verified

The register gives a Thurgood Marshall School of Law J.D. in May 2015 and a Texas licence on 4 May 2018 — a three-year gap between the degree and the Texas bar. The register records both dates and no explanation, and we have none.Verified

He and Alonzo Campos hold J.D.s from the same law school in the same month — Thurgood Marshall, May 2015, which Campos’s record calls by its parent university’s name. Campos was licensed that November; Aguirre in 2018.Verified

What the firm says

The firm says it has recovered an eight-figure aggregate for clients and has practised in Austin since 1975. We print no recovery figures. The 1975 date long predates his 2018 licence and refers to the firm, not to him.Reported

The homepage claims a 5.0 average across 48 Google reviews, and offers consultations in Spanish. His register confirms Spanish and English under language assistance.Reported

This is the firm’s own marketing. It shows they hold themselves out as taking rideshare cases — it is not evidence that they have run one, and we have not verified any rideshare case they have handled.

What we haven’t checked

Not established. Why his register’s fee field is blank when his website is unusually explicit about fees. The three years between his 2015 J.D. and his 2018 Texas licence. The firm’s aggregate recovery claim, which we do not print. We have not reviewed court records for case outcomes, we print no settlement or verdict figures, and we have no basis for judging quality of representation. A bar check is a floor, not a ranking.
